Singer Yena, a former member of project girl group IZ*ONE, will drop her single "Love War" on Jan. 16, her agency Yue Hua Entertainment said on Wednesday.

"Having sold over 110,000 copies of her second EP 'Smart Phone' last August, Yena is set to flaunt her talent with a story of love," the agency said in a press release.

The singer will release a photo on Thursday, followed by music video teasers, a poster of lyrics and a highlight video.

Preorders for the physical CD began online on Tuesday. The CD will come in two themed packages, "Love" and "War." Each version will contain 68 pages of Yena's photos, a set of stickers, two photo cards and a poster.

Yena debuted in 2018 through IZ*ONE, a group comprised of 12 winners of Mnet’s hit audition program “Produce 48.” IZ*ONE disbanded in April 2020 when the members' contracts concluded. She made a solo debut in January last year.
