Boy band Xodiac to release 'Xoul Day' without member Davin
Boy band Xodiac will release its new album "Xoul Day" on March 14 without its member Davin, who will be taking time off due to personal issues, according to the band's agency Jacso Entertainment.
"Davin will not be taking part in the group's activities due to personal issues, and Xodiac will work as an eight-member band for the time being," the agency said Thursday.
"We will give details of his schedules in the future."
"Xoul Day" is the band's second single. It will include three tracks: "Heyday," "Creme Brulee" and "Wonderful Tonight." The lead track "Heyday" is a song dedicated to the band's fan club X-Bliss, according to the agency.
The nine-member band debuted in April with its digital single “Throw A Dice.” The band was known as OCJ Newbies during its trainee period. There are six Korean members — Hyunsik, Lex, Beomsoo, Wain, Gyumin and Davin — two members from Hong Kong — Sing and Leo — and one member from Indonesia, Zayyan. Xodiac released its first EP, also called “Throw A Dice,” in June.
OCJ is short for One Cool Jacso Entertainment, a Hong Kong-based entertainment agency founded by actor Louis Koo. Girl group Skyle, consisting of Korean and Chinese members, is currently under the agency.
