DAY6 tops Favorite's weekly chart as Riize lands second spot

DAY6 topped Favorite’s weekly chart for the third week of April.

Favorite is a K-pop fan poll codeveloped by the digital streaming service Bugs and the JoongAng Ilbo, an affiliate of the Korea JoongAng Daily.

Weekly chart rankings are calculated through a combination of fan votes and an artist’s number of streams on Bugs.

DAY6 received a score of 42.6 percent, accounting for a whopping 793,562 votes and 5.2 percent of Bugs’ streaming data. Rookie boy band Riize landed in second place with 30.1 percent, which accounted for 598,088 votes and 1.9 percent of Bugs' streaming data.

DAY6 will be awarded a celebratory in-app banner, visible on the Bugs phone app from April 26. Additionally, DAY6’s celebratory banner will be featured in the charts category of the app.

Trot singer Kim Ho-joong was the winner of Favorite’s Weekly Comeback chart. [NHN BUGS]

Trot singer Kim Ho-joong topped Favorite’s Weekly Comeback chart with a score of 67.3 percent, accounting for 139,021 votes and 0.4 percent of Bugs' streaming data, while Riize landed in second place with a score of 13 percent and 15,736 votes.

Celebratory videos of Kim and Riize are currently being displayed at the Parnas Media Tower, located near COEX Mall in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, from Saturday to May 10.
