ITZY to drop new album in January, begin world tour in February
Girl group ITZY will release its new album "Born To Be" in January and kick off its second world tour the next month, its agency JYP Entertainment said Monday.
"Born To Be" will drop on Jan. 8 featuring 10 tracks, including lead track "Untouchable," followed by title track "Born To Be," B-side tracks "Mr. Vampire," "Dynamite," "Crown On My Head," "Blossom" and more.
The list includes songs by individual members for the first time in their career. Members took part in writing the lyrics and music for their solo tracks, according to JYP Entertainment.
The second world tour will begin with two concerts in Seoul on Feb. 24 and 25 at the Jamsil Arena in southern Seoul.
Details of the tour were not disclosed on Monday.
Member Lia will not be taking part in the group's album promotion schedules or the tour. She has been taking a break from group and solo activities since Sept. 18 due to health concerns.
Her solo track "Blossom," released last month as a gift for fans, has been included in the album "Born To Be."
