NCT fans NCTzen donated household goods under member Mark’s name to the nongovernmental organization Hope Joyagdol to support malnourished children, the organization said Friday.

The donation was made under the name “NCT Mark with NCTzen,” in celebration of Mark topping K-pop fan community platform Podoal’s 2023 second-half King of Kings vote.

The fan club donated goods such as ready-made foods, school supplies and sanitary pads to the organization, which will distribute the goods to malnourished children at the local children’s center in Gyeonggi.

The donation was also a part of the organization’s “Give Love” campaign, which encourages fans to celebrate special occasions with their favorite celebrities by making donations and spreading positivity.

“We are grateful to be able to provide a better tomorrow under Mark’s name by delivering daily necessities to undernourished children during winter break, when they are at high risk of missing meals,” NCTzen said in a press release. “We also thank Hope Joyagdol for giving us the chance to donate under the fan club’s name."

Mark debuted in 2016 as a member of boy band NCT under SM Entertainment. He is currently in three of the boy band’s subunits — NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT Dream. NCT Dream recently won Digital Album of the Year, Artist of the Year in the physical album category and the World K-pop Star award at the Circle Chart Music Awards 2023 on Jan. 10.
