Boy band n.SSign topped the iTunes Top 100 K-pop Singles chart in Japan with its Japanese debut single "New Star" on Thursday.

"New Star" was released on Wednesday as the band's first official single in Japan. It captures the members' resolve to step out into the world and take strides toward their goals, the agency said.

n.SSign is a 10-member boy band formed through cable network Channel A's audition program "Youth Star" (2022).

The band consists of 10 members — Kazuta, Eddie, Doha, Junhyeok, Robin, Hanjun, Laurence, Huiwon, Sungyun and Hyun. Hyun is taking a break from group activities due to health issues.

n.SSign's Korean debut album "Birth of Cosmo," released last August, was the fifth most-sold K-pop debut album in the first week of its release and topped iTunes Japan's Top Albums chart upon its release.
