Soojin to hold meet and greet in Japan to celebrate solo EP 'Agassy'
Former (G)I-DLE member Soojin will hold her first fan meet and greet as a solo artist on Wednesday and Thursday at the Cutup Studio in Tower Records Shibuya, Japan, her agency BRD Entertainment said Tuesday.
The meet and greet is to celebrate Soojin’s first solo EP “Agassy,” which dropped on Nov. 8.
The event is also Soojin’s first overseas event after coming back as a solo artist, according to her agency.
The singer is set to perform her lead and title track “Agassy” from her solo EP, along with performing her B-side tracks too, her agency said in a press release.
Her solo EP “Agassy” consists of six tracks, including the lead and title track “Agassy” and B-side tracks such as "Flowering" and “Sunset.”
The singer also promised to hold fan meet and greets in other countries in Asia, Oceania and the United States, starting with her Japan event, her agency added.
Soojin debuted in 2018 as a member of girl group (G)I-DLE under Cube Entertainment, but left the group in 2021 after facing school violence allegations. Cube Entertainment terminated her exclusive contract the following year.
She came back to the music scene after keeping a low profile for two years after the incident, then working with her new and current agency BRD Entertainment to release her first solo EP “Agassy.”
