Singer Sunmi will release a new single in June, her agency Abyss Company said on Friday.

The upcoming release comes eight months after Sunmi’s eighth digital single, “Stranger,” dropped in October last year.

The song, composed by the singer herself, will feature sentiments unique to her, Abyss Company said in a press release.

“Sunmi has wrapped up filming for the new track’s music video, shot in Croatia,” the agency added.

Sunmi debuted as a member of girl group Wonder Girls under JYP Entertainment in 2007. She left the group in 2010 to pursue her studies, then launched her solo career with her first single, “24 Hours,” in 2013.
