Twice's Dahyun to make acting debut in upcoming indie film 'All-out Sprint'
Twice's Dahyun will star in the upcoming indie film "All-out Sprint," her agency, JYP Entertainment, confirmed with the Korea JoongAng Daily on Thursday.
"All-out Sprint" (translated) will be Dahyun's debut as an actor, making her the first Twice member to start her acting career.
"Dahyun has been cast in the film ['All-out Sprint'] and is currently preparing for the shoot," JYP Entertainment told the Korea JoongAng Daily on Thursday.
"All-out Sprint," directed by Lee Seung-hoon, will be a sports drama film featuring runners. Actor Lee Sin-young is set to play Seungyeol, an ex-footballer who turned into a runner. Lee Sin-young also starred in the 2023 film "Rebound."
Dahyun debuted as a member of Twice in 2015 under JYP Entertainment. Twice recently finished its fifth world tour "Ready to Be," performing in 14 countries around the world. The girl group will drop its fifth Japanese full-length album "DIVE" on July 17.
