ZeroBaseOne's 'Sweat' drops on April 24 ahead of album release
Boy band ZeroBaseOne will release its track “Sweat” at 6 p.m. on April 24, the band’s agency, WakeOne, said Thursday.
“Sweat” is a track that will be on the band’s upcoming third EP, set to drop in May. The EP’s title and release date have not been revealed.
“Much like the title implies, the song will depict the summer heat and passion in a refreshing and energetic way that only ZeroBaseOne can perform,” WakeOne said in a press release.
This is ZeroBaseOne’s first time to drop a prerelease single as part of the band’s promotional activities.
After “Sweat” drops, the band will perform the song on four music shows — Mnet’s “M Countdown,” KBS2’s “Music Bank,” MBC’s “Show! Music Core” and SBS’s “Inkigayo” — in order from April 25 to 28.
ZeroBaseOne’s upcoming EP will be the band’s first release in Korea in six months, after the band's second EP “Melting Point.” The album's teaser video, titled “Summer Came Early,” was first shown at the KCON Hong Kong 2024 festival. It featured scenes reminiscent of summer, including photos of sandy beaches and the ocean.
