The Golden Disc Awards, which the JoongAng Group hosts, is considered one of Korea's most prestigious music awards ceremonies with the first event dating back to 1986.
Golden Disc Awards' Most Popular Artist awards, divided into male and female artists' divisions, are the only awards decided based on fan votes. Fans can vote using Favorite, a new fan voting platform created in collaboration with streaming service Bugs and the JoongAng Group.
Celeb Confirmed, the Korea JoongAng Daily's entertainment news and community platform, is also running an event offering a free ticket to the Golden Disc Awards and accommodation to two winners.
It's also running other events for international fans to celebrate the annual awards ceremony, offering many prizes.
Guidelines on how to participate can be found on Celeb Confirmed's website.
Many hot and trending K-pop artists of 2023 will be joining and performing at the upcoming Golden Disc Awards, including SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, ZEROBASEONE, NewJeans, IVE, LE SSERAFIM and many more.
